Alan Turing STEM Day
Year 6 Alan Turing STEM Day
Our Year 6 children had a fantastic day on their trip to the Alan Turing event, taking part in lots of wonderful and exciting activities! They explored science experiments, had a go at being entrepreneurs, and discovered the world of coding and robotics.
The children learnt so much throughout the day, including some fascinating survival skills and how to survive in the jungle!
They also had the opportunity to hear from guest speaker Benedict Allen, an explorer who has had some incredible adventures. If anyone is interested in finding out more about his experiences, he has written a book called Nine Times I Nearly Died, which tells the story of some of his amazing adventures.
