Netball Season
It has been a great season for our year 5/6 netball team this year. Before Easter they came runners up in the Sherborne Area Netball Tournament which was a pathway to the North Dorset Finals. Two weeks later they represented the Sherborne Area and had a great afternoon playing some fantastic Netball against some tough opponents. Thornford have never got to the North Dorset finals so this was a huge achievement for all involved. Well done team.
While the year 5/6 netball team were at the North Dorset finals, the year 3/4 team were participating in the Sherborne Area tournament. Coached by Miss Wareham, they improved in every game and came out victorious. Some great talent on show and lots of smiles all round.
