Beech Class Victorian Day
Beech Class had a wonderful day experiencing what school may have been like in Victorian times. They really enjoyed writing on blackboards with chalk and trying to write some letters of the alphabet in a simple form of ‘copperplate’ that Victorians would have written in. They made their own hopscotch games with chalk on the playground, learned times tables by chanting and made a thaumatrope (traditional optical illusion disc toy).
