Nature Explorers Club
Nature Explorers Club has had a great first year, we found all sorts of bugs, flowers and birds.
We particularly enjoy exploring the Wildflower Meadow (also known as the “Buttercup Forest “) near the polytunnel, which is home to many special plants. There are ancient Adder’s tongue ferns and bee orchids which make it very special indeed.
The nature explorers have made homes for wildlife as well as seeking creatures out. We’re looking forward to seeing what other creatures we can encourage in the school.
Some of the summer nature explorers had the following to say:
“I like finding out about bugs”
“I like to learn new species“ & “…and learn things about nature”
