What have we been learning this week?
It’s been an exciting week in Beech Class. We’ve begun our D & T project to create a toy boat that floats and holds weight. First we evaluated current toy boat designs and looked at the materials used. We then used this information to help us design our own boats and set design criteria. We had great fun testing different materials to see if they would float, and joining parts together. On Monday, we will begin to create our own boats.
We’re looking forward to bringing them home to share with our families at the end of the week.e’ve been working very hard on our Nativity songs. Please could everyone practise their lines over the weekend, particularly the narrators with lots to say.Thank you!
