We seem to have packed in an awful lot of things into the Spring Term. Here are some highlights :
- Our thanks go to the wonderful Mrs. Christine Wendell for her hard work with recorders and Choir.The standard of the Recorder Consort Group and the School Choir is absolutely stunning!
- Oak Class Brass Band
- Elm Class Recorders and Elm Class Samba Band who performed an amazing concert to their parents
- Y3,4 and 5 singing their Bugsy Malone songs- concert on Thursday at 4pm
Our thanks go especially to Mr. James Cattigan who has coached the school Football team for the last two years. We are so grateful to him for giving up his time for free to coach our children; to teach them football skills and encourage and develop their teamwork. The children took part in regular fixtures during this year and the Y5/6 Football tournament this week. They all worked hard, tried their best and were proud to represent their school. Well done to all!
We would also like to thank Miss Amber Hanley, our sports apprentice, for coaching the Y6 netball team during their fixtures and tournament. They also displayed great teamwork and camaraderie throughout their games.

Reading, Reciting and Debating Celebration- The children displayed a high standard of performance skills
Author Visit – lots of children inspired to read the adventures of Mr.P
Dragons Den Fair which raised £500 for Comic Relief!
An enjoyable Cluster Art Day at Sherborne Boys’ school
500 words competition (Oak and Elm) Congratulations to Fred in Elm Class and Luke in Oak Class, who have managed to get through to the second round of the competition with their stories!
Y6 Business and Enterprise; Y6 Gifted and Talented Maths Day; Sherborne Area Chess challenge.
Thanks go to Rev. Tony Gilbert and the Y6 for the lovely Easter Church Service and to Mrs.E.Lewis for organising the Eco walk.
